Using agile principles, we challenge the current state and develop better implementation and coding practices. Once a feature is built, we are never satisfied with its status and we continually investigate bottlenecks and limitations as they arise to make it more and more efficient.
We make Machine Learning a tool for humans
We will always organize our efforts to reach company goals and to ensure our clients always get the best support. We believe that Machine Learning empowers humans and does not replace them. In the same way that a truck allows workers to carry more loads, Machine Learning allows actuaries to process more data and generate models with a higher predictive power.

It is hard to get bored working as a software engineer at Akur8, which makes it the most appealing to me. Working on different stacks and on several features can be challenging, but rewarding. Our pace is dynamic and we don’t run out of technical topics to share and discuss. The team is reliable and very passionate and I genuinely have a lot of fun working here!

What I particularly enjoy working at Akur8 is seeing a feature I implemented being used by clients to solve real-world problems, and getting their feedback. I also love working with clients to understand their pain points during a pilot and then to propose solutions. Being part of a team of people who are good at their jobs and have a collaborative mindset - that's what excites and drives me each day.
