Samuel is CEO of Akur8. He spent 15 years at IBM in various international sales and sales management positions before joining Insurtech Shift Technology as Head of Sales. At Shift, Samuel was instrumental in the successful internationalization of the company, including in the US. After 2 years at Shift, Samuel co-founded Akur8.
Within Munich Re’s Global Consulting Unit, Davide is leading the development of solutions in personal lines. He is based in Munich, Germany, and works with clients in the UK, Europe, Latin America as well as the Middle East. Previously, he headed Actuarial Analytics at Generali (Germany). Davide is Munich Re’s global product owner for the insurance pricing software Akur8. He occasionally writes white papers and gives university lectures or keynote speeches at conferences. Davide worked as Associate Lecturer in Astrophysics at the University of Sydney in Australia and the Max Planck Society in Germany.
Bruno Becha is Head of Actuarial Data Science at Akur8, helping clients accelerate and optimize pricing through Transparent AI. With over 10 years of experience as a Pricing Actuary and Data Scientist, he has worked across insurance carriers and AI software companies, bringing deep expertise in pricing models and advanced analytics to drive impactful results.
